FAQ

Is Lisse Safe?
Yes, Lisse is extremely safe to use, the technology has been FCC certified and the light emitted by Lisse is 1/10th of the power of a common TV remote, and 1/50th the strength of a typical wifi router.

Additionally, Lisse works contactless, so it doesn't add any impurities into your wine.

Does Lisse work with white wine?
Lisse works with red wines, the red in red wines are derived from the skins, stems, and seeds of the grapes used to produce the wine. Red wines are in contact with the grape for a longer period, which is why they tend to have higher tannins, a wine with high tannins can be described as bitter and astringent, and tannins are often the reason why it is recommended that you allow a wine to “breathe” or aerate before drinking it. The air softens then tannins, particularly in young red wines. There is no harm in trying it on white wine, however there may not be any noticeable change.

Does Lisse work on other beverages?
Lisse's technology is designed to optimized the reaction between oxygen, polyphenols, and alcohol. So any beverages that contains those three elements will be affected.

How many glasses of wines can a single charge decant?
A single full charge can on average decant 90 glasses of wine before needing to be recharged. Lisse uses micro USB cable to charge, and it takes about 2 hours to charge from empty.

Our vision is to build a global standard to accurately communicate the art of decanting
